What exactly is being done?

A full wash of the body, wheels, inside door panels, inside glass and tire shine to top it off.
Iron decontamination is done using a clay bar to pick up embedded contaminants that a normal wash can not get rid of such as rail rust.
For a stage 1 paint correction, a gritty compound is used with a dual-action polisher to remove most swirl marks, oxidation, minor scratches, scuffs and paint transfers by removing and leveling out a microscopic layer of clear coat.
For a stage 2 paint correction, a fine polish is used with a dual-action polisher to remove fine swirls. Also oils in this polish add deeper reflections and higher gloss.
Finally once the surface has been decontaminated and smoothen out, HYBRID SOLUTIONS ceramic spray (6 month durability) or ARMOR SHIELD IX ceramic coating (24+ month durability) is applied to the body, outer glass, rims, and exhaust tips.

Well first it depends on the colour and condition of the paint.

Lightly worn paint may skip stage 1 paint correction and just need stage 2 to smooth out the surface.
Darker coloured vehicles benefit more from the polishing oils that enrich colours during stage 2 paint correction.
The silver package is great as a maintenance wash just to top up on existing coating.
Between the two ceramic coating options, it really depends on your budget and how much you value your vehicle.
Services may be added and subtracted within a package to fit your needs.
